Mandalay

Just got back from my favourite club in Hamburg for sure. Good crowd, good clothes, good atmosphere and above all good music. Accessible, danceable techno. Not the shit that NorAms think of or that chin stroking I'm-an-electronic-music-cognoscenti bullshit, I mean some quality Teutonic party music. Check out Richie Hawtin DE9 - Closer to the Edit for something reasonable close, but not quite as good.

Also go to www.mtvutr.com for a taste of the wierd. choose the Deutschland option. I don't know if this is in NorAm yet or not, but it is a trip.

Also on the new here- Scissor Sistors single, I Don't Feel Like Dancing. V.O. is so-so, but the Linus Loves full vocal mix just kills it.

Favourite on the old school tip: Claudja Barry - Dance, Dance, Dance (Tom Moulton Mix). Disco inferno, y'all.

Graphic Disease

Where does everyone get the cool blog templates from? I feel like some kind of inept internet user. And my blogs look poor.

BTW, there are more MSTRKRFT remixes floating around than you can shake a stick at. Or a rolled up Canadian Tire lawsuit, for that matter. No, I am not clever, I recycled the Crappy Tire thing from elsewhere. Weak, weak, weak. Guitar-powered fun on the dancefloor for rockers who don't want to admit dance music is dope. DFA 1979 did, so get yo head out yo ass son.

Hamburg f-ing kills it.
